Congressman Steve Chabot is proudly serving Ohio's First Congressional District in his 12th term. A lifelong Cincinnatian, Steve previously served as a Cincinnati City Councilman and Hamilton County Commissioner for nearly 5 years in each position prior to his election to Congress in 1994.

Steve continues to serve on the Committee on the Judiciary, the Committee on Small Business and the Committee on Foreign Affairs (formerly the Committee on International Relations). He currently serves as Chairman of the Small Business Committee, having previously served as the Committee’s Ranking Member in 2007 and 2008. Steve also served as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific in 2013 and 2014, and Chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution from 2001 to 2006.
