If the Democrats Win

We’re a little less than 100 days from this year’s extremely important election. That’s not a lot of time. And depending on the state, many people will be voting way before that by absentee and mail-in ballot.

And the reality is, the House, the Senate, and the Presidency are all up for grabs. Democrats and their friends in the mainstream media are trying to convince us that the presidential election is all but over, and Joe Biden can start measuring the drapes in the White House (if he ever comes out of his basement.) I think the battle for all three, the House, the Senate, and the Presidency, are going to be very close, and could go either way.

My greatest fear is that if the Democrats win all three, our country is in a world of hurt. Here’s why.

The Senate has always been a check on our country going either too far to the left or to the right. How is that you might ask? Well, it’s the filibuster rule – the need for not just a simple majority of 51 votes to pass something. In the Senate you need 60 of the 100 senators to bring something up for a vote.

So for example now in the Senate, you have 52 Republicans and 48 Democrats (technically two of them are independents, but they vote with the Democrats, so they’re effectively Democrats.) Because of the filibuster/60 vote rule, even if you have all 52 Republicans in favor of something, you need eight Democrats who favor it too, or it never comes up for a vote. That means Republicans have to involve Democrats in the process to pass anything (and vice-versa when Democrats are in the majority.) The minority party gets a say. It protects minority rights.

Elizabeth Warren campaigned on getting rid of this Senate tradition. And Joe Biden has turned over his platform, his prospective presidency in effect, to Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders, and a AOC, and the other radicals on the left. And he’s said he will have to “take a look at” doing away with the filibuster – translation, they are going to do it.

So if the Democrats win the House, the Senate, and the Presidency, what will their agenda be? It’s pretty clear. They’ve already told us. Washington DC, then Puerto Rico, will become our 51st and 52nd states. That means four more Democrat senators, making it virtually impossible to reverse the damage the Democrats do in the future.

Next target – the Supreme Court. There’s more or less a conservative 5 to 4 edge right now (although with Roberts you never know.) They’ll take care of that right away. Rather than wait for a conservative Justice to resign or die, they’ll increase the size of the court to 11, or 12, or whatever, and appoint liberals. Voilà, liberal Supreme Court.

Roosevelt tried unsuccessfully to pack the court back in the 30s. You just watch how long the Democrats take to implement this long-held dream if they take all three institutions up for grabs this year.

The tax cuts that resulted in perhaps the strongest American economy and lowest unemployment rates in history? Gone. Joe Biden and Democrats say they were just tax cuts for the rich. Baloney. Even the New York Times finally admitted that most Americans “benefited from the Trump tax cuts.” Biden and Schumer and Pelosi and AOC need more of your money to pay for all their new expensive programs.

Like free healthcare. And free housing. And free college. And reparations. And the Green New Deal. The Green New Deal – what a joke. No cars. No planes. No meat. NO JOBS!

Fortunately, the left hasn’t won yet. The election is still about three months away. There’s still time to save America from this nightmare scenario – from defunding the police, and letting antifa and the anarchists take over our streets and cities. This may truly be, the most important election, ever.
