The Democrats’ Plan

We have a habit in this country of saying that this election is the most important this century, or in the last hundred years, or in American history, or anywhere, ever. This time, since it’s not a presidential election year, it’s probably not the most important ever – but there’s no question that it’s important.

The Democrats certainly realize this. Because they’ve controlled the House, the Senate, and the Presidency for the last two years now. And they’ll tell you they’ve done a lot of great things. I would argue that their policies have been disastrous for the country.

They have no plans of giving up power easily. They do have plans for what they’ll do if they continue to control the House and the Senate. (They’ve got the Presidency through 2024.)

What they plan to do should scare the bejesus out of all right-thinking people (and by right-thinking I don’t necessarily mean conservative-thinking, I mean sound-thinking or common sense-thinking.)

If they pick up a couple seats in the Senate, they’ll have the votes to throw out the Senate filibuster, which will mean a simple majority can pass anything they want. Democratic senators Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema kept them from doing that this Congress, and that kept the Dems from passing even more bad bills than they did. With the filibuster gone, it will be Katie-bar-the-door in the Senate.

Tim Ryan (left) and JD Vance (right).

Of course one of the key races which will decide the fate of the Senate is right in our own state, JD Vance versus Tim Ryan. Now I’ve served in the House with Tim Ryan for 17 years. I know him pretty well. He’s a decent guy. I like him. But he votes with Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden and the leftists virtually every time. So we can’t afford to elect him to the Senate.

JD Vance, I believe, will make an excellent senator. He’s an award-winning author, a Marine, a family guy, and right on all the issues. JD’s got my full support, and of course my vote.

Now for the House, Nancy Pelosi wants desperately to hold onto power. And if the Dems hold onto the Senate and the House, and do away with the filibuster, the leftist policies they pass could be breathtaking.

No southern border. Millions and millions will continue to stream across the border and change the very fabric of this country.

The out-of-control spending we’ve witnessed over the past two years will seem like fiscal discipline compared to the spending spree to come. Getting millions and millions more people dependent on government handouts and unemployment will result in more handouts, and hard-working taxpayers being bled dry.

Dramatization of the Democrat funded 87,000 IRS agents.

Speaking of being bled dry, the 87,000 new IRS agents WILL be funded, and they will be turned loose like locusts from hell to take more and more of your money. After all, in Washington Democrats’ minds, they know how to spend your money far better than you do.

Washington DC and Puerto Rico will be the 51st and 52nd states. That means four more Democrats in the Senate, and at least two more in the House. And if you think Republicans will ever have a chance at any of those seats, think again.

Election laws will be “reformed” to permanently favor Democrats so they can maintain their vice grip on power. No more need for showing your driver’s license when you vote, in fact it’s illegal to ask you to show it. Fraudulent voting will skyrocket.

There will be a whole lot more pain and misery, but you get the idea. Now you may not be able to have much of an impact on the other 434 congressional districts, but you can have an impact on one – our own, the one I have the honor of representing.

Nancy Pelosi wants this one bad. She and her leftist allies will be pouring millions and millions of dollars into my opponent this time, Greg Landsman’s, campaign coffers. I could really use your help countering that.

You can help in several ways. You can volunteer. You can work a poll. You can allow us to put a yard sign in your yard. And you can contribute now online or send a check to Chabot for Congress, 5750 Given Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45243. I really appreciate your help.

Again, this may not be the most important election in American history. But it sure is an important one.
